(PRyl 117, 19; Philo, Somn. 2, 291; Jos., C. Ap. 2, 145) Ac 24:9; 25:19. In an affirmation made concerning the speaker, after the nom. of the ptc. we have the inf. w. predicate nom. φάσκοντες εἶναι σοφοί Ro 1:22; after the acc. of the ptc., the inf. w. the predicate acc. τοὺς φάσκοντας εἶναι ἀποστόλους Rv 2:2 t.r.
